Annular Cutters
Annular cutters are a type of specialized cutting tools that are specifically designed for cutting through steel. Similar to a hole saw for wood, annular cutters work to cut the outside edge of a hole to produce an accurate burr-free hole without the need for pre-drilling or step drilling. Annular cutters can be used to create much larger holes and require less force and time to operate compared to a standard twist drill bit. This is because annular cutters tend to operate using magnetic drill bits.
