Warehouse Ladders

18 Apr 2019 Warehouse Equipment

Warehouse ladders can provide facilities with safe and efficient ways to stock and organize hard-to-reach areas. At Unitran Manufacturers, they manufacture and supply a variety of different types and sizes of warehouse ladders to distributors across North America.

Different Types of Warehouse Ladders

The type of warehouse ladder required will depend on the location and nature of the job being done. All ladders from Unitran Manufacturers come powder-coated to make them more resistant to wear and tear as well as corrosion. Perforated non-slip steps are the standard with any warehouse ladder, and all ladders are tested for safety. Some of the types of heavy-duty ladders and stepladders made by Unitran Manufacturers include:

Rolling Ladders

Rolling ladders are one of the most popular and useful options for warehouses, stock rooms, and storage facilities. With sizes available from 2 to 20 steps, these warehouse ladders can suit any situation. Options such as automatic brakes and positive locking systems are available on select sizes.

Mechanic’s Ladders

Available in 3-step and 4-step models, this type of ladder is ideal for use in maintenance areas, storage facilities, and garages. These service ladders have a 21-inch platform to provide plenty of room for a worker to maneuver while completing a job.

Tilt and Roll Ladders

Tilt and roll ladders are a simple two-step warehouse step stool system with casters and a handle to allow for easy and fast transportation. They are capable of supporting up to 300 pounds and are an excellent option for stock rooms, maintenance areas, and tool cribs.

Rolling Work Platforms

These work ladders are similar in structure to regular rolling ladders, but hey are designed to provide a larger platform from which to perform complex tasks. Rolling work platforms have an extended 42-inch platform to make room for tools, stock, or an extra worker. This is an ideal setup for any operation that requires an elevated work platform. These platform ladders come in heights with 3 to 5 steps.

Push Handle Ladders

Push handle ladders are another excellent system for operations that need a quick and easy-to-use small ladder system. These 2-step rolling ladders have a handle for easy mobility and are useful for storage and service facilities.
